After graduating in International Relations, Art, Arabic and French, Caitlin built a decade-long career in cause-led communications and cultural diplomacy for organisations including The Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the BBC, The White Helmets, Britain Stronger in Europe and Hay Festival. She took risks in her career in order to pursue the things that interested and mattered to her. She has been published and interviewed in the international press and regularly chairs live events.
Since 2020, she has been engaged in multidisciplinary solutions to the housing and climate crises. She works freelance on writing projects. She is on The Prince’s Foundation Building Craft Programme 2023-25, specialising in low-carbon finishes. And she launched an education project with Material Cultures that advocates for environmental and social progress within construction.
Caitlin has lived in Syria, Lebanon, France, Wales, Belgium, England, Czech Republic and the UAE but is currently based in London with a lifelong connection to Marseille and Hay-on-Wye.
